about us
We, the members of the MSMDS is a parish-based music ministry of Saint Louis University, bound by our genuine friendship and faith in God, passion for music and the arts, and dedication to serving God's people. Aside from Liturgical Service, the group is considered a Basic Ecclesial Community forged to develop active, socially involved, competent, and holistically formed Louisians who initiate transformation in society. We minister with music by singing and leading the people to participate in the liturgical celebrations actively. We believe that music is a powerful instrument in spreading God's tender love. Aside from serving in Eucharistic celebrations, the group has performed various socio-spiritual events, such as concerts, funeral and wedding services, special university functions, and the like. It is not only an organization; it is a Christian faith community with a unique mission and commitment to a Christ-centered life. We are challenged constantly to develop future leaders by providing opportunities through our ministry activities.
